Crawford Cares 2016 Voting Underway for Dubuque Nonprofits

DUBUQUE, IA - The 2016 Crawford Cares program is underway. Crawford Cares gives back to the Greater Dubuque Area. Crawford Cares is making a positive impact in the local community by honoring local entities with personalized awards, recognition and charitable donations.

After receiving 38 nominations for the 2016 program, voting has begun to determine the three finalists for 2016. Between now and Nov. 27th individuals may vote for the nominated nonprofits. The three organizations with the most votes will be announced Nov. 28th. A panel of judges will review the three finalists and determine an first, second and third place. The overall winner receives a $1,500 charitable donation, 2nd place receives $500 and third place receives $250.

Dubuque Tri-State Share was the overall winner for the 2015 Crawford Cares program, while Hills and Dales Child Development Center and Shalom Spirituality Center claimed runner-up honors.
